The Want Want Group was founded in 1962 under the name I Lan Foods Industrial Co., Ltd. We introduced the Want Want Brand in Taiwan in 1983, and soon after, we expanded into mainland China by investing in factories.

WHAT IS SENBEI?
Senbei is a type of Japanese rice cracker that comes in various
shapes, sizes, and flavors. Senbei came to Japan from the Mainland during the Tang dynasty around 737 AD. Since then, it has changed and evolved greatly. Want-Want Senbei is the accumulation of the many journeys and evolutions of the rice cracker culture. We make our Senbei with carefully selected Japonica rice and bake to perfection. Today’s Want-Want Senbei is the one the most popular snack that you will find in most households in Asia.
